Fun Assessment for Students

Hi, teachers! This is the first time I finally write a post related to my teaching in here since I made this blog. Hahaha... So I just joined a teacher training called CAMP SOAR and learned so many things from there, so I will share teaching materials, strategies, and stuffs so you can also benefit from that.

The first thing I want to share is my tutorial video of an online assessment platform. Have you ever heard of Socrative? Well, my video is in Bahasa Indonesia but I guess if you want to watch in English you can search it on Youtube.

So this web has helped me a lot in assessing my students' understanding on my lesson. Plus, it's presented in a form of a game, in which the students compete one to another. My students enjoyed it a lot. Your students do not need to download an app so it will not mess with their phone memory. All they need are smartphone/computer and internet connection. Super nice. And after everyone has finished answering, we can just download the result in a form of Microsoft Excel data. Super easy. I love it that I don't need to correct my students' work if I use this to test my students.

WELCOME TO MY BLOG!

Dear readers,

Please do not be offended by my choice of words. I use "dummies" because sometimes I feel like one, especially when I actually don't know what and how to teach in the classroom. I am a new teacher. I started my career as teacher in 2012. I was a homeroom teacher in a bilingual kindergarten. I worked there for one and a half year. Then I taught English in an English course in my hometown also for a year and a half. While doing that I also taught in a tourism college. Now I am teaching in a vocational senior high in the same regency.
In this blog, I would like to share media and activities I use in the classroom for teaching various students. You can just copy what I have because those also do not belong to me. That is the art of teaching, we can just steal people's idea and not be called a thief.
Happy teaching!!!
